On this site, there are - hopefully - a lot of interest. Buy, sale, useful information and a lot of pictures. My interest for the volvo PV startet when I was fasinated by the neighbors old PV544. Black, elegant, plump and pleasant. It might have been a 544 A, -1959 model - black and shiny. To be a owner of such a car was so out of the question that it was only a unthinkable dream. That car made an impression. I still remember how the car floated by our windows, the drying rack and to the house where the owner lived.

The dream came true 12-13 years later when I was 19-20 years old and suddenly was the proud owner of a black, shiny PV544-A model, year 1959. It was just how it was ment to be. The car and I became good friends and we spent much time together until the summer 1983. Then the '59 was replaced by a original PV444-CSQ.

My PV-interest startet with the 544-A model and the interest is still alive. I become familiar with the Volvo PV throuh the knowledge to this car and this car had to pay for my needs for alteration and modernization. The '59 model was taken completely apart several times. Originally the car was equiped with a B16 engine, 3 gear and 6 volt electic system. This was replaced by B18, 4 gear and 12Volt. This was a little boys dream that come true- and its a long long time ago. ....

This site will show you some of what interests me now. It is the first and the last PV, The 444A and the 544G. Between those cars there are about 440000 PV's and about twenty (20!) years.
